How Sweet

I was quite inspired by this CSI Case File, I had ideas swimming through my head instantly.
Coupled with a fabulous sketch from over at Chookscraps the layout pretty much put itself together!!

I have rotated and centered the sketch, cos thats the kinda gal I am
I like things straight and linear
and I'm learning to accept this!!!!
Have used some old EP Be Mine paper scraps as it was
just the perfect match for the CSI colour combo.

As you can see from the photo my darling daughter is now
waaaaaaaay taller than me and darling son isnt far off. Seems I'll be the
shorty in the family all too soon!
However after adding the finishing touches to the layout I thought it needed a pop of colour.
So I coloured some Collections butterflies with Copic markers
to add a little extra colour to the page.

Bo Bunny Country Gardens

This range of papers is simply gorgeous and are a must have in everyones stash!!

Here is what I have created with it

Believe In Yourself

A layout that intially started out being about Ashleigh but as it progressed ended up being about me.....................go figure. The Collections Expression 'through this door' was the trigger for both cutting the door in the paper and exploring my fears in many aspects of my life particularly scrapbooking.

...........and a close up!

Another Layout

Don't fall off your seats now!
Yes, I have created another layout.........so pleased my mojo is slowly finding it's way home.
I was given the really cute Neapolitan range from American Crafts by Tracey to play with this time. Just perfect to create a layout of our sweet niece Makayla.

The pale pink Thickers seemed to blend in too much, so I grabbed out some Smooch, which I have had in my stash forever and blended the pink and pearl over the top.
Really like how they have turned out.

Just a word of warning tho!
The Smooch doesnt dry on the foam....pmsl!!
Note to self experiment on some odd letters before going direct to layout - smacks head.
But I was able to blot the letters which did remove alot of the sparkle but a least it did dry.

Thank for stopping by
Hope you have a creative day

Cheers Terri

Paper Flourish Shares

I seem to be the OA girl at The Flourish!
Not that I mind because I love OA papers and embellishments..........most of the time.
This first layout is using Farmhouse papers, I'm really fond of this range - it's so pretty.
I have made many cards and even covered my diary in the scraps

Now the Sasparilla range is a whole different ball game not my cup of tea at all
It just seems to be a mixed matched lot of papers, but it suited some photos taken in Tassie on our trail ride.

I used an embossing folder as a stamp for the effect on the title.
I was after a woodgrain effect and I think I have captured the look of sassafrass well.

I have the Neapolitan range from American Crafts sitting on my table so I had better get a wiggle on with creating.
But I'm having way too much fun doing my Chemistry homework!!

I'm studying Chemistry!!

.............and I just cant wait for my first lesson.

Looking forward to learning some new techniques and generally just having a play.
My desk will soon be cleared and my 'T!m stuff' will be moving in...........roll on Tuesday!!!!
