Week 4 on The MMT

This week we want you to create an animation inspired layout using the following criteria
1. Cartoon/comicbook style
2. Cutwork
3. Layers
4. Bright colours
5. Doodling

This challenge I feel has quite a few of the girls frazzled. hehehe
Heck I'd be throwing in the towel right about now!! So not my style!
But I'm sure the girls will dig deep and produce some stunning layouts.

Autumn tonings, distressing and flower/foliage.

I have been doing a few step by step classes in stamping, so I decided to include the lastest technique, repetition stamping, on the card.

MMT - Mini challenge!

Poor girls on the 'bus' have their first proper mini challenge this week!

I have got them making an ATC using at least 3 different mixed media.

Must include a musical style quote or stong title/lyrics.

It's worth a HUGE 5 points!!!

Cant wait to see what they come up with!!

I have used watercolour pencils, chipboard, texture paste (love this stuff it's my new lastest love!) joss paper, cotton wool, muslin, glimmermist and the old dymo labler

Here we are in week 3 already!

The criteria for this one........
1. black with one colour but you can use as many shades of that colour as you wish
2. small amounts of white are allowed if necessary
3. brads
4. retro font
5. some plastic/vinyl embellies

Year In Review

Over at WOIN they are running a year long competition.
One LO per month about something that happened in the previous month.
There are monthly prizes and if you complete all 12 months you have a chance to win the major prize of a six month subscription to one of their wonderful kits
Every LO must include a photo, journalling and a calendar.
In my wisdom I thought I'll do 6 x 12 LO.....nice and easy. Boy was I wrong!!! I'm struggling with this size but hopefully by the end of the year I'll have a handle on it.
Here is my not so darling dog. Got home to a bomb site last night. The clever thing tore the flyscreen of DS bedroom widow and worked the window open (no it wasn't closed properly DS had it open!!!) and she got in and trashed the house. Loo paper, shreaded clothing and just generally a big bloody mess - including poop on my bed eeewwww. Luckily my precious scrap supplies remained unscathed. Roll on scrap room..................

Magical Mystery Tour - week 2

Bit slack in posting but anyways...........
This week the girls on the MMT are toning it down and going .....

The criteria theis week
1.Black, white/cream - will allow minimal touches of other colours
2. Music sheets - will allow music stamps/masks etc
3. pearls
4. rubons
5. Flourishes and/or chandeliers and/or damask.

A couple of the girls have been real quick with this one and have already uploaded gorgeous LO's
I wonder what we have up our sleeve for next week??
