Week 4 on Cropdile Island

Here's my LO for this week ......had to be something we had survived. I chose to scrap probably the exhausting thing I've ever done, but it was so worth it! The climb to St Mary's Peak in the Flinders Rangers. Just an 8 hour walk no sweat!!

February's almost over!!

Well I cant believe it..........it'll be Christmas before I know it!!! Must make an early start on my cards this year. I only handed out 10 cards last year, so very slack of me and I did feel bad, so I must be more organised.
Anyway for me I have been scrapping up a storm! Here is my take on Ann Lavin's challenge for February.

And another on Toni Laws criteria......................I used blackboard vinyl as the base. The original plan was to do some drawings or sums on the background but it looked crappy so I went with a chalked border instead.

This weekend is the CC at Hybrid. Dont think I'll get all the challenges done.....................still have the Survivor one to do for this week aaaahhhhh!!! Scrap about something you have survived...........still thinking about that one.

Mels card challenge criteria must have a heart - tick

No black - tick

1 non scrap item - tick - I raided my sewing box and used a pin

and non standard size or a shaped card - mines a small 10 x 10cm card rather cute I thought

An OTP notebook I've made using Bella Corkopia..................criteria orange, pink and white (my favourite colour combo) and at least 3 hearts

Inside....................

Better go get my thinking cap on for the survivor challenge dont want to be kicked off the island just yet....too rah

Guilty Pleasure LO

Here is my LO for Butterfly Crafts Guilty Pleasure challenge..............................it's also based on the February sketch by the wonderful Mel at Hybrid.

On Crop-o-dile Island this week we had to scrap an household item! Goodness did this have me stumpped for a while but here is what I came up with (with a few suggestions - thanks Toni) Scrapped Thongs!

And for us gals on the Kanzan Tribe - a moral boost with some smuggled items. We lost a tribe member last week so I think we deserved something spesh! Survival Kit contents include: loo paper- so we dont need to use leaves, matches - to start a fire the easy way, shampoo/conditioner- cos goodness my hair feels gross, chocolate - mmmmm and scotch - for medicinal purposes only!! Oh and Sven (aka Ken) he's just there for our pleasure!!!! Goodness I'm silly LOL!

First LO of the Month

It usually takes me forever to do a LO, but this one came together super quick! Based on the sketch and criteria over at Black Magic. I generally dont do boy LO's overly well, but I'm really pleased with how this one turned out.

Of to plan my next one.............Gulity Pleasures.................wonder what they might be.....................
